This exquisite little clump-forming mauve violet is native to England, specifically Teesdale in County Durham. This violet is new to the nursery, and has been blooming for a while now and is said to often rebloom. It is not a scented violet, but one this pretty really doesn't need any bells or whistles. It has the same requirements as other violets - moist but well-drained soil. sun in winter and shade in summer. Zones 6-9.
