Viola odorata "Rosine" is very pretty with pale pink on the outer petals, deepening to cerise towards the center.  "Rosine," also sometimes called "Rosina," was used for market cut flowers and was very popular in the 1920s and 1930s.  I think you can see why.  (Durez, 1920)
