New for 2025

"Mrs. David Lloyd George" is new to the plant list, and although I have been propagating it for a couple of years, I still have only a limited supply.  It may be slow, but it is steady and a beauty.  It is named for Dame Margaret Lloyd George, (1964-1941) who was a notable humanitarian and politician, and also wife of the Prime Minister.  It seems only fitting that such a violet would bear her name.  Deep lavender with a charming white central rosette and hardy to 20 degrees F.  It is similar in coloration to "Colombine" but with the addition of the central rosette.
