"Josephine" is one of the showiest violets on the violet list.  It is a bright, cheery hot pink (Roy Coombs describes it as carmine-cerise), which sets it apart from all of the rest.  The violet veining in the center really makes it pop.  It is an early and long bloomer.  No date is available.  (Carman, New Zealand)
