This award-winning scented violet is quite pretty with medium pink blooms that grow lighter toward the edges.  The blooms are large and face upwards.  Not a lot of violets face upwards, but there are also a few others on the violet list (Reine de Neige, Queen Charlotte, and Royal Wedding).  These upward-facing violets are among my favorites.  (Groves Nursery,  2008)  Zones 4-9.
